Delaney Speaks

We know Delaney can hear well.  All it takes is a barely audible rustle of a gold fish bag and she’s diving over chair arms and searching under pillows saying, Mor! Mor!

She’s shaking her head yes and no all the time now.  “Did you have a good day at school today?”  Shakes head yes.  “Are you ready to get out of the bathtub?”  Shakes head NO!

She calls me Mummy, Andy is Daddies, and Tristan is Tris.  Her pacifier is Mee Mee.

She says many other words like more, ball, shoe, juice, doggie, woof woof, Pippy, something that’s close to Pap, fis for fish and tis for tissue.  I know there are others but these are the ones I can think of right now!

  1. Andy says:

You forgot car! -> “vroom vroom”. I’m not sure she said doggie. I think she just says “woof woof”.

  2. Candice says:

She did say doggie! do-GEE! I think she abandoned it quickly for woof woof though.
