Our offer was accepted this morning! We have been searching since July for the perfect house. My original requirements: all-brick, a porch, 9′ ceilings, a kitchen that opens into a family room, a driveway area to play basketball, and a flat yard big enough to hold a volleyball net, firepit, garden, and playset. The only things we had to give up were a front porch (I think we saw two houses total that had front porches) and all-brick (no way could we afford all-brick unless it was an older home that Andy couldn’t stand up in!) I know I posted pictures already, but family and friends are asking to see more!
Kitchen – Andy is facing the pantry, while the laundry room is to his right.
Pantry – We don’t have to use our shoe shelf anymore!
Laundry room – No more handwashing in the kitchen sink!
Sliding glass doors leading to the patio/backyard.
Half bath on the main floor.
Standing in the family room
Looking up at the second floor
Master bedroom – Wow, a ceiling fan!
Master bath – I’m not sure why they bothered to put a door on the toilet room because it’s open at the top?
Upstairs hallway – Bath is on the left – Access to attic
Steps to the basement
Unfinished basement area
Note the central vaccum – Of course we bought a Dyson not too long ago…
Patio, looking toward the left
Closest house on the upper side
Towards the right – Wooded behind the yard
