Landscaping Update

Our landscaping has come a loooong way in the past three years.  Let’s take a walk back memory lane.

When we first bought the house, it was covered by overgrown landscaping and poorly positioned trees.

Last summer we cut down the trees and removed some of the overgrown trees.  Yes, there is a house behind all of that mess!

And now for the most current pictures, we had a landscaper take out the rest of the ugly shrubs, return much of the mulched area back to grass, transplant some of our existing plants and flowers that we bought last summer, and add some additional items.

I took these pictures in June, the grass has since filled in much better.  But you can see the general idea here.  Andy also trimmed down the top of the birch tree that was lopsided due to a broken section.  Our house now looks like it belongs with the others on our street!

Some year I’ll get rid of the shrub mess on the side of the house.  It’s such a pain to trim every year!
